Membership Fees 2021/22

It was announced in February at our AGM that, after consultation with neighbouring running clubs, we as a committee have decided that we would be freezing our membership fees until September 30th 2021.

On October 1st the amount due for full membership will be £15.00 which will see you through until March 31st 2022.

Please note that this freeze is only applicable to any paid up members as at March 31st 2021 and does not apply to virtual members, new members after March 31st 2021 or past members who did not renew their membership in 2020/21.  If you fall into any of these categories the existing 2020/21 membership fee structure will apply.

Last week the EA announced the following with regards to EA licences:

“Due to the ongoing situation we continue to face regarding COVID-19 we have extended the deadline for athlete renewal payments from 30th June 2021 to 31st August 2021. In the event of a licensed competition taking place during the summer (prior to August 31st) all athletes who were registered during 2020/21 will be eligible for competition up until 31st August. Competition checker facilities will be amended to reflect this decision. Any new athletes entering competition will need to be registered prior to the date of the event.”

However, If like me you would like to renew your EA membership now anyway, you will see that when you log into the members area you can click on a link on your right called ‘Purchase Membership Licences’ where you will be able to pay your annual £15 licence fee and we will pay that over to the EA on your behalf.
