LT Group: 20th May

Here is the session for the first LT Group at tomorrow‘s pub run. This year I have provided two levels for the main set. Additionally, I have included strides in the warm ups and cool downs.
  • Faster runners: Turn at the end of your final rep and slot straight back into the main group.
  • Route: Pub-run (road).
  • Watch: Please set the session on your watch.
SESSION
Warm up
  • 15 min easy, broken down as:
    • 10 min easy
    • 4×20 sec strides with 30 sec recoveries
    • 5 min easy
Main set (select one)
  • Level 1:
    • 4 × 8 min @ LT pace
    • Recover 3 min easy
  • Level 2:
    • 4 × 8 min @ LT or 10K pace
    • Recover 2 min @ MP (≈ 15–20 sec/mi slower than your LT – turn back to meet with the main group)
Cool down
  • Easy jog, broken down as:
    • 5 min easy
    • 4×20 sec strides with 30 sec recoveries
    • Jog back to pub
