JR 5K Handicap 03 July 2025 – Volunteer instructions

VOLUNTEERS

Course set-up:

  • Steven Alder
  • DJ
  • Andrew Read
  • Angela Read

Please arrive at the Angel by 6pm where you will meet Jodee and be provided with everything you need.

Registration/Timekeeping:

  • RD – Jodee Mayer
  • Registration and Timing – Sarah Naughton – arrival by 6.40pm
  • Timing – Beth – arrival by 7.15pm
  • Number caller – Jenny Layley – arrival by 7.15pm

Course marshals:

Meet first at Race HQ between 7 and 7:15pm, where once all of your marshal point team have arrived Jodee will brief you and give you your high-vis vest and wire cutters.

  • Marshal Point A – Max, Maggie, Steven
  • Marshal Point B – Owen, Dan, David
  • Marshal Point C/Water Station – Ian, Colin, DJ
  • Marshal Point D – Lisa, Keith, Celine
  • Marshal Point E – Trevor, Claudia
  • Marshal Point F – Oliver
  • Photographer –  Dave Holditch

Please get onto your course position before 7:30pm (as you’ll trip over the runners otherwise).

Please car share to get to and from your marshal point.

The task is to direct runners around the course, warn for cars and collect signs (a list will be provided – please do take the signs off of the stakes after this race) and bring back to Race HQ after the last runner (and take photos if you can!).
