JOHN ROBERTS 5K SERIES 2023 RACE 2 – THE RESULTS

First of all, the biggest thank you to our volunteers! We literally could not put on these races without you, and an even bigger thanks to the three people who stepped forward in the last 24 hours (one as the race was starting!) to step in. The thanks this time go to Steven Alder, Fiona Collins, and Jason Lilley for setting up the course, everyone knew where to run (once that missing arrow was put in place!); Ann Johnson, Kerry Townsend, Dean Whittaker, Will Radley, Geoff Reddin, Patrick Hinchliffe, Stewart Walker, Jaq, Sasha Pauley, Sue Smith, Simon Scott, David Grainger, and Mark Austin for keeping all our runners safe as marshals; and Liz Prior and Rachel O’Leary for helping with registration, timing, and cheering at the finish.

Special mention to Mark Austin who, whilst marshaling, managed to recruit a new member as he was weeding his garden – excellent work!
