Halloween Efforts & Post Run Fun!

No Halloween Plans yet? Don’t worry, we’ve got them sorted 😉

As Halloween falls on a Thursday, it seems like a great time to get the club into the (evil) spirit! So, what’s the plan? Quite simply, it’s a winter 5k with a twist, Fancy Dress! No prizes will be awarded for time, instead there will be prizes for the best dressed Male and Female.

The route will be the standard winter 5k route around Freebournes, though we’ll start a little earlier at 7:45pm. The early start is to ensure we can all have enough time to jog without getting too much of a sweat on, wouldn’t want to ruin all that face paint.. Plus, evening fun awaits!

After the run, it’s onto El Pulpo for Paella (1 Fish & 1 Meat), Olives and Bread & Oils. I’ve spoken to El Pulpo and agreed a price of £15 per person, this will include the food AND a drink of your choice. This is a great opportunity to have a fun social evening and support a local business, so the more faces the merrier. I do need to confirm a rough number for food and we need a minimum of 12 people, I’ll create a Facebook event to make it easier to confirm attendance.

Penny & Karen will be the coaches for the 5k, however we will also need some Marshalls (Fancy Dress still required!), please let us know if you are available to help.

Looking forward to seeing all of your costumes and better yet, a cheeky G&T with some good food after!
