Fast 200’s – 30/01/2025

This week’s speed development session is Fast 200’s, with Max and Jodee.
It’s a simple session… you will run 200 meters aiming for your one mile pace, you then recover by walking for the next 200 meters and this is repeated for 30 minutes. The longer recovery allows you to run the 200 meters at a harder effort than you would normally run and will be a pace that most of you are not used to running.
It is very important to ensure that you are adequately warmed up before you start, so please do a warm up jog prior to arrival, as always we will do a dynamic warmup prior to starting the session.
The session will be held at Gershwins, running back and forth along the footpath between Hawkes Road and the Pond. Please meet on the green area where Hawes Road meets Gershwin Boulevard in time for a 19:30 start time.
