Essex XC Champs – XC Relays

For those of you that can’t wait another minute for your first XC race of the season, the Essex XC Champs kicks off with the relays on 16 September – if you want to take part, please sign up at the bottom of this post and we’ll coordinate team assignments.

Important details:

• Date: 16 September
• Timetable (following the junior races) is:
  Race 3 – 11:00am – Senior Women, VW40, VW50, VW60
  Race 4 – 12:00 noon – Senior Men and V40, V50, V60 men
• Location: Weald Country Park, Brentwood, Essex, CM14 5QS
• Leg length: 6km
• Hosted by: Billericay Striders on behalf of Essex AA
• Cost: WRC will cover the costs of team submissions
• Deadline for entry: 1 September

Teams are made up as follows, noting the introduction of vets categories this year:

• Senior Men – teams of 4
• Senior Women and Men and Women v40, v50, and v60 teams – teams of 3

Unfortunately there’s a restriction, which may affect some of us – the event is only open to UKA/EA licence holders. You can check if you have a licence here – https://ea-registration-check.myathletics.uk and if you want to take out a licence speak to James Attenborough.
