Essex XC Champs – XC relays

The Essex XC Champs kicks off with the relays  and all of the information is below – if you want to take part, please sign up BY 27 SEPTEMBER 2024 at the bottom of this post and we’ll coordinate team assignments.

Important details:

• Date: 12 October
• Time – Race 3 – 11:00am – all senior and vets teams
• Location: Weald Country Park, Brentwood, Essex, CM14 5QS
• Leg length: 6km (2 laps)
• Hosted by: Billericay Striders on behalf of Essex AA
• Cost: WRC will cover the costs of team submissions

Teams are made up as follows:

• Senior Men – teams of 4
• Senior Women – teams of 3
• Vets Men and Women (v40, v50, and v60) – teams of 3

PLEASE NOTE – Senior age is at 31.08.24, and Vets age as at 12.10.24. I do not know what this means for anyone that was, for example, 39 on 31.08.24 but will be 40 by 12.10.24. If this is you, please contact me!

Unfortunately there’s a restriction, which may affect some of you – the event is only open to UKA/EA licence holders. You can check if you have a licence here – https://ea-registration-check.myathletics.uk and if you want to take out a licence speak to James Attenborough.
