EKIDEN RELAYS RACE 15TH JULY 2018

Ekiden Relays are coming on Sunday 15th July this event has been held in the UK for over 20 years and Witham Running club have provisionally secured 8 team places.  The 26.2 mile race is run by teams of six as a relay:

Leg 1 ~ 7.2km

Leg 2 ~ 5km

Leg 3 ~ 10km

Leg 4 ~ 5km

Leg 5 ~ 10km

Leg 6 ~ 5km

The race will take place in the grounds of Woodbridge School Suffolk.  The course is a multi-terrain 2.5k, which weaves around the school grounds and is virtually flat.  The race starts at 10.20am.

This is a great day out for Witham running club members as we support each other as you run around the grounds of Woodbridge.  You can bring cakes and picnics and there will also be barbeque and refreshments available to buy on the day.  There will be changing facilities available but no showers.
