Every cloud really does have a silver lining, as when the rain had finished we had the Ladies bringing home the team silver medal (Rachel Sweatt, Liz Stuckey & Charlotte Elms) along with Rachel Sweatt finishing 2ndin the Ladies open.
But it doesn’t stop there! Both Rachel Sweatt and Owen Dare had the temerity to claim the club records for their age group, and there were a large number of PBs across the piece. Everywhere you looked there were Witham RC vests to be seen.
