Bentley Half – Peer positions

With our record turn out last Sunday amongst the 709 finishers there were some excellent performances from our members within their peer groups.

Age categories used by UK Athletics are in 5 year bands once men reach 40 and ladies 35 for the majority of road races so it is interesting to compare how we fare amongst our peer group especially as it is unlikely that only few will ever place in the overall open race (the whole field irrespective of age).

Unsurprisingly our highest men/women finishers were  Pete Riley 3rd and Liz Stuckey 4th. Other top 10 places were Vicky Hunt 5th, Mark Austin 6th, Colleen Rae 8th, Graham Eyre 9th, Myself and Penny Clarke 10th.

I have deliberately omitted the specific age categories (!!) but well done to all.
