A slight delay in getting this online, perhaps for building up the suspense. A huge congratulations to our CMOTM for August 2025 has been awarded to Jenny Layley. This was for her hosting of the Summer BBQ. Well done, it was appreciated by all!

Well done to our other nominees for August:

• Yousef Oucouc – For his constant effort towards improving his times along with his sub 20 at the ATW FNR 5k and the 44:14 achieved at the Run Through Foundation 10k race at Stratford.
• Harry Solomon – For doing Harry Solomon things – competing at the ATW FNR 5k then the next day, he was at the Stour Valley Path 50k ultra where he finished in 6^th place overall, in an amazing 5:05:04. To finish the month, Harry completed 66:67 miles at the Gosfield Backyard Ultra.
• Steven Wherrett – Steve was our fastest finisher at the ATW FNR 5k squeezing in under 17 minutes and well pleased with a PB time of 16:59!
• Owen Dare – Another month another club record – at the ATW FNR 5k, Owen came first in his age category V60, securing a PB and another club record, earning himself county gold and V60 gold. Followed by 1st MV60 at Clacton HM.
