Essex League XC

Scott Darney ran in this XC fixture at One Tree Hill on Saturday, on a tough and hilly course, and came a very impressive 56th. Good work!

 

Palma 10k/Half Marathon/Marathon

We had a decent sized crew travel to the Mallorca for a festival of running, taking on various distances, and no doubt imbibing various Spanish ‘delicacies’.

Paul Chandler took on the marathon distance, which is no mean feat in 35 degrees of heat, and completed the course in 4:16:32.

Harry Borely did the half marathon and finished in 2:34:23, great work.

Tiptree 10

Another club champs race this weekend, and two club records were smashed. Heydon took a fair chunk off the M45 record, and Brigid took over 4 minutes off the F55 record which has stood for 10 years. There was also a host of PBs and club standard performances. Tom Ashley wins the ‘Bang On The Money’ award this week, finishing in exactly the time needed for a bronze standard performance. Great work everyone.
