ESSEX RELAYS • 11th October
It’s going to be a great season for xc. Thank you to everyone who has signed up to the relays on 11th October. Attached are our teams which I will submit tomorrow morning.
Selections are always based on fielding the strongest complete teams. Every runner is vital cover for our teams. Please consider volunteering on the day if you’re a reserve and I am also always grateful for the help (see below).
Runners please be at Hylands by 10AM for race start at 11AM. Please message me if you cannot find me but I will have the WRC banners flying too. URGENT VOLUNTEER CALL: Currently Essex do not have enough volunteers to marshall the course safely and if the situation does not change then there will be a high chance senior races will be cancelled. If you would like to volunteer please let me know and I shall forward you their details (vis versa).
WRC like the majority of all running clubs are non-profits and their ability to host events, not exclusive to cross countries, depends on runners also volunteering at times.
