ATW FNR 5k

Always popular with our runners, this 5k event at the Colchester track was also a County Champs fixture again this year. We had 20* runners spread across the various events (grouped by pace). The below results are combined from all races. Congratulations to Owen Dare, who got the full set of a PB, club record, and MV60 gold for both the race and County Champs. And Claudia Baba who got 3^rd FV40 in her race. Well done everyone!

Stour Valley Path 50k

Apparently still with some energy left after Friday night’s exertion, Harry Solomon was at this hot & hilly ultra. I was a little concerned when I saw from his result submission that the distance (challenging as it is) seemed to have taken him 50 hours. However, a quick check of the official results show that Harry finished in 6^th place overall, in an amazing 5:05:04.
