02/09/25 – White Hart, Coggeshall, CO6 1NH – Update

Please note a couple of the fields we run through have recently been ploughed and as a result there is no real option but to walk across the middle, whilst its only a short distance we would not advise running this section it is just after the 1M point where we turn left off The Essex Way and take the usual footpath towards CutHedge Lane.

The other field is just after the footbridge where we turn left off Pantlings Lane just before the 3M point – this one is a bit more manageable by just taking short detour round field edge.

If going with this route best practice and advice would be to walk across the ploughed fields & wear light trail shoes.

Anybody not wanting to do this route we have introduced a 6 mile road route as an alternative option, there is a very short section next to the A120, please stay to the right hand side of road and use footpath.

Tuesday’s pub run is the White Hart, Coggeshall

The car park postcode is in the title and is a very short walk to the pub from there, please do not park in the pub carpark as this is very limited.

Just the one route which is 5.2 Miles and remains unchanged.

Finally as I mentioned last week, now we are into September and starting to loose light towards latter part of the run Hi-Viz and lights are now essential! Please remember that we are all ambassadors for the club so its important we wear the appropriate gear when running on a club night.
