Chelmsford Marathon

Some amazing performances at our localist marathon, with Mr PB getting a sparkling new sub 3 PB, and Leo Cole pushing himself to 2nd position in the Essex Champs leaderboard with his performance. A great run also from Sarah Naughton in her gazillionth marathon/ultra this year.

Chelmsford Half Marathon 

More excellent performances at Chelmsford at the half, with a PB for Tashley, and a silver standard performance for GG. Great running everyone.

Cambridge Half Marathon

Smith & Slattery (sounds a bit like a comedic duo) were at this Uni town for a half, and they had a lovely time.

Swansea Half Marathon

Nick Looby was our only black & gold representative in the land of sheep, hills, leeks, dragons, and the Manic Street Preachers* for the Swansea Half Marathon, and finished in 1:55:11.

Great South Run

John Lloyd went down south for this big 10 miler, and crossed the line in 1:35:21. Good work!

 

Burnham On Crouch 10k

WRC were four-strong at this surprisingly tough and trail heavy 10k in Burnham. Great work crew.

Capel St Mary 5 Mile Race

Michael Poulter was our sole participant in this race, and it was his first official race in 7 years. He finished in 44:20. Great work!

 

Autumn 100

I took part in Centurion Running’s Autumn 100 event, running 100 miles along the Thames Path and Ridgeway Footpath, finishing in 22hrs and 54 mins, and finishing in 68th position out of 242 runners. Another club member (and long time friend) Jason Lilley ran with me for the last 25 miles, and basically got me through it.

 

Virtual JPM Chase Challenge

Anita Grainger took part in this virtual 5.6km event, and finished in 31:36.
