It is good to see so many members making the most of their daily exercise and getting out into the sunshine. The second race of the SD champs also brought a large number of runners out, some finding the perfect route to carry out their 1 mile time trial.

We received an email this week from the EA recognising our efforts to keep members running as best practice and asking if this could be shared at an upcoming webinar. See post for further details.

Self Isolation & support

If you are in self isolation and need some support please reach out to WRC, I am sure all members would be happy to help. There is also a post from Jason and Jo, our welfare reps on the website

Social Distancing (SD) Champs Race 2

Another fantastic turnout with 70 members taking to the streets to find their perfect mile. A great effort by everyone and some fantastic results. The next 1 mile TT should be in the opposite direction. Results are on the website.

Race 3 of the SD champs will be a 3k time trial starting on Thursday 9th April.  Full details will be on the website.

Photo Competition

There have been some great entries so far, keep the photos coming in.

Change to EA licence price & Food bank donation

Thank you to the members who generously donated the extra money paid for the EA licence to WRC. The committee have discussed how this can be best used and have agreed to donate to a local food bank. There is a post on the website which includes an option for members to make additional donations if they wish.

Future Events

The virtual WRC Pub quiz should be coming soon. Watch out for a post.

Membership

The new membership year started on 1^st April and can now be renewed in the members area on the website.
