WRC Social Distancing Championship – Update for Fun and Fairness

You will hopefully see that we decided to increase the alloted time for which you can run these races so that it makes it easier for you to all submit a time and so that we can inroporate this into the Thursday Speed Development Sessions.
In order to add a little fun and fairness we have made some slight tweeks to the guidelines (we are definitely not making this up as we go along!) for the 1 Mile and the 3km TT:
1. 1 Mile TT
You can choose a course that is as easy or as hard as you like but please make sure it is safe and that you do not drive to your destination. There are no restrictions on your course which can be on or off road so long as it is a mile.
2. 3km TT
For your 3km TT we are going to even things out a little from the 5k time trial and ask that you run the same route, however:
– If you ran an out and back or a loop, please can you try and start at the same place as you started for the 5km and run the same route in the same direction until you reach 3km.
– if you did not run a loop or an out-and back ((ie point to point) then please can you start your 3km time trial from the finish point of your 5km TT and run the same route in reverse until you reach 3km.
– if you did not run the 5km time trial then please try and run a looped course or an out and back.
