Club 5k Track Race – Thursday 19th September

Next Thursday (the 19th) sees our final club 5k race of the year. It is completely FREE and open to ALL members!

 

The Details:

Registration: 8:00pm – Please do not go onto the track until instructed as there is another club using it.

Start Time: 8:30pm. Please get there before 8:00pm to register and warm up. We need warm off the track as someone else has it booked until 8:30, but we will aim to start as close to 8:30 as poss.

Location: Braintree Running Track, Panfield Lane, CM7 1FF. Walk through reception and out to the track area, which is to the left once you’re outside again.

The Race:  5000m or 12.5 laps of the track.

Prizes: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies for gents and ladies, so plenty of opportunity to take home some silverware.

 

 

This is your last opportunity to run a club champs 5k this year, and the fast flat course should make for ideal PB conditions. 🙂

 

 

 

We also need a few volunteers to help out on the night so please let me know if you’re available.
