This is one of the Mid Essex Casuals annual trail events, and was well attended by our guys in black & gold.

Matterhorn Ultrak Sky Race

Matt Jordan was at this beast of a race in Switzerland, 50km of distance and 12,000ft of climbing. To put that in perspective, our biggest local hill, North Hill in Little Baddow, is just under 200ft per mile. This event is 387ft per mile average, for 30 miles. Impressive. Official results don’t seem to be available, but MJ completed the course in 9:49:59.

 

Mersea 10

Leo Cole, Andrew Smith and Ross Silverton were representin’ at this island run, with Leo finishing 12th in 1:08:38, Andrew finishing 24th in 1:16:53, and Ross finishing 87th in 1:43:56.

 

Little Elms Quarter Marathon

Another Mid Essex Casuals event, and another run for Terry Alabaster. Apparently not the easiest course to follow, with many runners getting lost and confused. Terry completed the course in 1:20:25, but claims 20 minutes of that was working out where to go. We believe you Terry. 😉
