Trail Marathon Wales

The, now traditional, WRC trip to the Salomon Wales Trail Half and Marathon, took place on Saturday at Coed y Brenin in Snowdonia, Wales.

6 WRC chaps, Sylvie and a Darney Strider raced the event. Matt Jordan and Scott Darney upped the bar this year and entered the full marathon which had over 4000 feet of elevation! With hills and technical trail a plenty, it’s fair to say that it was a little emotional for all.

Heydon got lost, Matt stopped to help someone and Scott had more mid-race costume changes than all the Spice Girls combined.  A great, fun and challenging event.
