Stour Valley Marathon

Sounds like it was tough day out on the course for this notoriously hilly and almost always hot trail marathon. Four of our members struggled through, and it appears even to finish this race is a fairly huge achievement. Well done guys!

Wimbledon Half Marathon

A quad of WRC ladies travelled to the land of the Wombles to race in the Wimbledon half marathon.

Mike Groves 10k

Andrew and Angela Read were at this race hosted by the Coltishall Jaguars, finishing in 1:01:25 and 1:19:57 respectively.

 

Medway 10k

Sylvie Bullen-Bell and Nicola Dallinger were at the Medway 10k race, with Nicola finishing in 1:00:19 and Sylvie completing the course in 01:10:43.

 

Chignal Fete Trail Run

Terry Alabaster was back out on the trails again at this difficult-to-navigate Essex Trail Events run. The route was supposed to be 5.5 miles, but Terry ‘did a Heydon’, and ended up doing 6.5 miles, finishing in 1:00:11.
