Here is the session for the first LT Group at tomorrow‘s pub run. This year I have provided two levels for the main set. Additionally, I have included strides in the warm ups and cool downs.

Faster runners: Turn at the end of your final rep and slot straight back into the main group.

Route: Pub-run (road).

Watch: Please set the session on your watch.
SESSION
Warm up

15 min easy, broken down as:

10 min easy
-
4×20 sec strides with 30 sec recoveries

5 min easy

Main set (select one)

Level 1:

4 × 8 min @ LT pace
-
Recover 3 min easy
-

Level 2:
-
-
4 × 8 min @ LT or 10K pace

Recover 2 min @ MP (≈ 15–20 sec/mi slower than your LT – turn back to meet with the main group)

Cool down

Easy jog, broken down as:

4×20 sec strides with 30 sec recoveries

Jog back to pub
