A real mix of events this week/weekend.

 

Terry Alabaster was out on the trails at the mid-week ETE Farmhouse Fun trail race (6.5 miles), coming 3^rd in a time of 51:31.

 

Jodee Mayer was our only representative at the H&T Stour Valley half, which she completed in 2:59:53.

 

Race to the King (South Downs Ultra)

Rupert Bulgin was down South at this 100k ultra  (actually more like 102k) with over 1500m of elevation. He finished in an amazing 12:54:05. Great work Rupert!

 

High Easter 10k

We had a good decent showing at the High Easter 10k, although fewer than expected, given that this was the County Champs 10k. Below are the results from the organisers, although I haven’t seen the County results yet.

Hats off to Heydon Mizon, who broke the male 50-54 club record by over a minute – the oldest V50 record by a long way as it was set in 1986! (38 years ago, if you want to feel really old).

Run Sandringham Half Marathon

WRC’s power couple were off hob-nobbing with the royals at this half marathon around the Sandringham estate. This was Angela’s first half marathon – well done Angela!
