Essex 20

This week Heydon shared some wise words, “20 miles is a really long way”. It certainly is, Heydon. Still, it didn’t stop him walking away with an Essex Silver award. Our very own England Champion Owen Dare continues to shine as he took home an Essex Gold and broke his own club record. Additionally, Ian Cuthbert, Sally Hoyle, Giles Sowerby and Mick Conroy all ran impressive PBs . I know DJ was very pleased!

Finally, the Witham Men’s team secured the bronze award, standing alongside Southend (2nd) and Braintree (1st). It’s a testament to WRC’s depth of talent and skill, seeing off other renowned track clubs to the podium.

Your Club Needs You

Finally, this Sunday is the final NESS League fixture at Gosfield. We’d love to see as many runners there as possible.
