The Black & Gold were out in force this weekend (and mid-week!). One big/Club Champs race, but also a little marathon going on up in Lincoln.
Chase the Sun Olympic Park 5k
Dean Whittaker was chasing the sun, and pacing the run(ners) at this mid-week event in London. He was pacing 22:30 and finished in 22:10. Well done Dean!
Boston Marathon
We had a few runners up in Boston (UK!) for this popular spring marathon. Well done to Ian Cuthbert, who achieved both a PB and silver standard.

Little Bromley 10k
Despite it feeling a bit warm, overall the conditions lead to some great times (and a new course record overall at the race). We had a huge turnout, and some great results right through the field. Heydon Mizon broke his own MV50 club record, and Colsey broke the MV75 record. Congratulations to Annie Johnson, racing for the first time since 2018 (and having recovered from a broken ankle in the meantime!). And to Anita Grainger, posting her fastest 10k for 5 years. And well done to Jamie Davidson, who finished as 2nd MV45.
There were undoubtedly plenty of standard times achieved also, but sadly I can’t cover them all as we had such a high turn out!
