Your club needs you! XC, Charity and Dinner Dance

NESS XC 2022/23 RACE 5
The league is very close now, with Great Bentley only a single point ahead of us, in 3rd place overall. We need to beat them in this final event to secure our victory!
We need to be out in force on the 19th February for the final fixture of the season. Please do whatever you can to attend and let’s show everyone what WRC can do!
The race will be held at Holbecks Park, Hadleigh, IP7 5NG. Keep an eye on the facebook event for any parking updates.
XC SUPPORT
Now that I’m fit enough to run 5 miles again, I’d like to take to the trail myself at Hadleigh. If you were planning to support, or are available on that day and not planning to run, let me know if you’re able to come and help with recording the scores for us. Liz and I will be very grateful.
XC BAKES
We have Liz Stuckey, Annalise Tye, and Steven T Alder down for baking on 19th. The theme is “Black and Gold – show us some club spirit!”.
We could do with another baker or two to help feed the black and gold army we’ll be taking along. If you’re able to help, then please let us know. If you aren’t a baker yourself then perhaps you can persuade family or friends to hook you up.
FOOD BANK RUN
Remember this Tuesday is the food bank run from the Ship in Tiptree. See Rachel’s recent post for details and we’ll see you there. I might even be running myself, for the first time since August…
DINNER DANCE
Sales of tickets for the dinner dance are going strong, so don’t leave it too late to buy yours! Closing date for tickets is THIS WEDNESDAY.
