Results 1st February 26

1 February 2026 - By Will Radley

Natalie is away this week so she’s asked me to step in. It’s certainly been a great weekend of racing with some excellent performances.

The club’s seen its membership grow over the last couple of years, and the workload comes with it. Please continue to volunteer for roles, respond to committee member pleas, whatever they may be, and submit your results every week. Your club really does only work when you work with it.

With that, here’s your weekend roundup.

Lee Tooey took on Torremolinos Half Marathon in a respectable 1:46. Great run, but please, buy yourself a race vest, Lee.

We also had James and Christine at the Watford Half, both putting in solid runs on an undulating course. Christine finished in 2:26:36 and Monty was right behind her in 2:26:37. Anita took on the 10k and ran 58:52, a strong, well-paced effort given the muddy and mixed terrain.

Rich Green was running at Grafham Water Marathon, finishing in 4:26.

WRC members were out in force at Bentley Half which featured pbs, Club Records and top three age category finishes.
