Pub runs – The Willows
28 April 2017 - By Stewart Waller
Considering the cool and blustery conditions the first pub run of the “summer”, from The Willows in Cressing, attracted a good number of members most of whom stayed behind for drinks and/or dinner with 23 covers in the dining room.
Most also returned to the pub before dark and unscathed although there was one casualty who, I am pleased to say, is recovering well. This does highlight, however, the importance of groups staying together and making turnbacks to ensure that no one is left behind.
Next week we are at the ever popular Green Dragon in Great Leighs where the post run repast will take place in the Hayloft.
See you there.
