Alton Water Run – Monday 2nd January

Quick reminder a group of us are heading up to Alton Water on Monday 2nd January.We plan to get there for 9am and meet in the car park at the Park Café. It’s a pay and display car park.

Laps of Alton water are approx. 7.5miles and people can choose to do 1 or 2 laps and then meet in the café for a post run coffee, cake or brunch.

This is a great route, trail shoes are recommended although not essential, the route is undulating and very pretty. This is a fab way to run off the excess from Christmas and good preparation for any of us mad enough to be running Benfleet 15 on 15th January ( I’m one of those!)

WRC cyclists are also welcome to take part and do laps with us or rather ahead of us.

It takes approx. 45 minutes to drive to Alton Water so we will be leaving Witham around 8.15, if anyone needs a lift.
