9:30 plus sign-up – Wickham Bishops (trail)

Hi everyone.

On Tuesday we take to the trails in Wickham Bishops – this is the postponed route from a few weeks ago. The route has dried up nicely now, but is a bit overgrown in places as a result!

There are 2 options of 4.7 and 5.7 miles*. This is a fairly hilly route so please bear this in mind when choosing your pace and distance.

Parking is at the St Bartholomew’s Church car park, post code CM8 3LA. As usual, we’ll meet ready for a 6:30pm start in our pace groups.  GPX and instructions will be posted on the Whatsapp group, and a print-out of instructions available on the day.

Please note that this is almost all trail and, while it’s a very scenic route, you’ll need to keep your eyes down for roots, ruts and rabbit holes. I’d also recommend bug spray, and an antihistamine if long grass is likely to be an issue!

* there’s also a really short option if the heat and hills prove too much.
