Tuesday 9:30+ Sign up – Amended Route!

Hi all

Due to the recent bad weather, we have decided to change this Tuesday’s run to a road route.  Parts of the original route we had planned are challenging at the best of times, so the addition of mud and standing water would have made it quite treacherous.  It is a nice route though, so we will try to run it when the weather improves.

The new route will be in Great Totham, and is a slight variation on the old Prince Of Wales pub route.  There is only one option of exactly 5 miles, but it is all road apart from a small section of gravel path.

We will meet at 6:30 on the Green opposite the Post Office in Walden House Road, Great Totham, CM9 8NG.  There should be adequate parking on the surrounding streets (suggestions highlighted in pink below), but we would ask you to be considerate to the local residents as there may be a few of us.

If anybody wants to stop for a drink afterwards, the route ends next to The Bull pub, and they have covered seating outside – but I would advise that you book in advance (01621 493380).

We have kept the list of those of you who had signed up to the original route, but if this change affects your decision to come, or you want to change pace groups, just let me know and I’ll update the list.
