Ellisons Solicitors XC League – Race 3 update

Following on from my posting on January 2nd, official details now received.

Writtle College, Lordship Road, Chelmsford, CM1 3RR

Start time: 10.45am

The students are not back yet so there should be plenty of parking but please car share where possible. We will meet in the main hall before the race and results and refreshments will be there afterwards.

The course will be the same as we used for the Vets XC in November so 2 laps of 4K, yes that means twice around the lake ☹️ but no woods or stream 😀  The course is suitable for spikes or studs.

If you have never tried XC before, or haven’t run one since your school days, then please come along and give it a go – it is the best training you can do for a marathon. We are currently lying equal 4th in Pool A so the more runners we have out the better our chances of improving on our position.

As always, club vests (not training tops) are essential and so is cake…..this week’s star bakers are: Hayley, Rachel and Liz Prior
