Pub runs – The Cross Keys

31 July 2019 - By Stewart Waller

Fortunately the rain held off for our run from The Cross Keys on Tuesday and I’m advised that the trail route was not as damp as it might have been. Despite only 18 staying on for food the menu was considered by some to be the best so far this summer which was good news for the pub’s new chef. This prompts me to remind you that if, as a result of the pub runs, you ever go back to one of the pubs we have visited please mention the club visit as the reason for your return. This will stand us in good stead when making bookings for next summer.
(I also welcome comments on your likes and dislikes etc.)

And so to next week when you can once again look forward to a few undulations as we visit The Six Bells in Boreham (CM3 3JE). A large car park and excellent grub and with only 4 pub runs to go, make the most of it.

See you there.
Stew.
