Pub runs – The Swan, Little Totham

As well as welcoming some new members at Tuesdays run from The Swan it was good to see one or two ‘old’ faces making a return in the form of an ex chairman and an ex treasurer. The forecast rain held off and another good turnout was achieved with 22 members staying for food. We will be returning to The Swan later in the summer but if you like the pub I can recommend its beer festival from the 7th until the 16th June. I might even look in myself!

Next Tuesday an old venue with a slightly different twist – Heybridge Basin but NOT The Ship. We will be gathering at The Jolly Sailor (CM9 4RS) just down the slope from The Ship. This should prove to be a much better choice especially if you are planning to eat there which we hope you are. Whilst there is a small car park at the rear of the JS if this is full then there is always plenty of room in the Daisy Meadow car park a short warm up jog from the pub.
