Pub runs – The Green Dragon.

Our penultimate summer pub run from The Green Dragon attracted, according to my maths, nearly 60 members although only 24 of those stayed on for food which is about average for this year. If that was the penultimate summer pub run then next Tuesdays run from The Western Arms in Silver End (CM8 3SD) must be the last. Although this auspicious event usually occurs at The Willows unfortunately this establishment is temporarily closed but The Western does have the advantage of having several different routes of varying distances which is useful with the evenings drawing in. Talking of which the more astute among you will have noticed that the chairman, last Tuesday, was setting an example by wearing his hi-viz; time to get it out folks!
