Club Champs Update July 2026

As we’ve had a real flurry of Club Champs races in the last few weeks, it’s time for another update!
Results include the following races:
- JR 5k race 3 & final
- High Easter 10k
- Gt Bentley, Springfield & Colchester 5 miles
- Southend HM
And the following volunteer/commitment points:
- JR5k x 2
- Ekiden running
Sally is still leading the ladies, and Nadia has jumped to second spot, with Amy still in a podium position. Lots of runners still have race distances in hand though, so it’s still very open!
It’s really close at the top of the mens’ table, with most in the top 10 having completed 4 out of 5 distances, but Mark Austin is sneaking up the ranks and has a race in hand!
The last summer club champs fixture is the Colchester FNR 5k, then we’re fully into the autumn races and XC! Don’t forget, you can Wildcard one race (see rules for further details).
Don’t forget that all of our members must volunteer at at least one of our races throughout the membership year, so if you haven’t volunteered yet, please reach out to a committee member to find out what opportunities are left for the year.
