XC Champs 3rd January 26 Final Details

I hope you’re enjoying your Christmas break and preparing for the Champs at Gloucester Park (SS14 3GR) this Saturday.

 

Race timetable:

• 12:20pm – Senior Women & U20 Men (8km)
• 1:10pm – Senior Men (12km)

 

Team medals:

• Senior Women: 4 to score
• Senior Men: 6 to score

 

To represent Essex at the Counties on 7th March, you must finish in the top six runners of your age category.

 

If you have attended before, then you’ll know where to park and please do car share where possible. Please give yourself plenty of time before your race.

 

Thank you to Andrew who’ll also be helping us with the gazebo this year. We need a couple of people to help set up so please message one of us. If possible, could our men’s team please be ready before ladies begin so we can have a club photo.

 

If you are unable to run, please do let me know.

 

As always, we’re grateful to all volunteers and officials, so please be courteous to them on the day and to your fellow runners. Use toilet facilities, double and triple-check you have your race top and a change of spikes or trail shoes etc.
