CHAMPS RESULT ROUND UP

A solid turnout and some strong performances from WRC across the vets categories this morning at the Essex Vets Cross Country Championships in Epping.
Men V50+
- Owen Dare led the way with an excellent 33:30, finishing 4th in the M60–64 category and 4th overall in the team vets standings.
- Andrew Lager clocked 36:51 in M50–54.
- Leo Cole ran 36:57 in M55–59.
- David Kelly ran 46:45 in the M70+ category, rounding out the men’s vets for WRC on the day.
- David Jobling, finished in 47:22 in the M65–69 category.
Unfortunately Heydon Mizon wasn’t able to complete the course. Hoping nothing serious and look forward to seeing you back soon.

Men V40s
Great run from Giles Sowerby, clocking 33:51 in the Men’s V40 race to finish 14th in category. Strong, controlled performance in a competitive field and a solid contribution for WRC. Nice work.

- Claudia Baba produced a strong run with 40:24 to place 5th in the F40–44 category and 17th in the overall F40–49 team standings.
- Liz Stuckey ran 45:04 in F50–54, followed by Rachel Sharp in 45:53 in F45–49. Both solid efforts.
- Celine Elson finished in 50:20 in F50–54.
- Anita Granger close behind in 53:12, also in F50–54.
