Upcoming track training sessions

Track sessions are back – book them in your diaries!
These sessions are held on a Saturday morning, 9am on the hard track at Braintree Sports and Health Club.
Each session will be run by a different coach, so look out for the session details in the run up to the date.
Track sessions are great to improve your speed, whether you’re looking at improving race times, general running fitness or looking to progress to the next group up on a Tuesday night. They are also fun! The sessions often have smaller numbers of attendees than a Thursday session, so the coaches can really focus in on technical skills and give advice to individuals as necessary. They are suitable for all levels of runner.
The coaching team are giving up their Saturday mornings to hold these sessions, and whilst the training itself is free for members, the venue hire is NOT. When arriving at the leisure centre, state you are there to use the track with WRC and pay the bargain price of £3 (or that’s what it was last year!) Once paid you can head out the back and to the left to the track, where the whole session will take place and last approximately an hour (coaches will be more specific in session details).
I hope to see as many of you there as possible. If you’ve never run on the track before, be brave and give it a go, you’ll get lots of support!
