Pyramid session – Thursday 4th Jan 2018!!

The first training session of the year is the very popular Pyramid session. A great session which is suitable for all levels of ability and a good way to get back into training.
After our usual session briefing at the Leisure Centre, we aim to leave at 7:45pm to do a warm-up jog to Eastways. Then we will split into groups to complete the warm-up before starting the main session.
This week, each set will consist of a 1min, 2min, 3min, 2min and 1min reps with a 1min standing recovery between each rep. At the end of the first set, there will be a 2min recovery before starting the second and final set.
Feel free to programme you Garmin (or other device) with this session. We will do our best to help you all with your timings, but I am sure you can appreciate it can get a bit tricky at times!
At the end of the session, we will jog back to the Leisure centre for our static stretches to complete the cool down.
Please feel free to meet us at Eastways in our ‘usual’ spot if you prefer.
