Introduction to Club Running 2018

Here it is! The long awaited start of a brand new introduction to club running programme. We had 2 successful groups through the programme last year and I am looking forward to welcoming some new recruits for 2018.

So, are you, or do you know anyone who is ….
1) Already a beginner jogger/runner… need to be able to jog/run 5k or 3 miles (parkrun distance) before beginning this programme.
2) Keen to extend your distance/ improve running endurance/ improve pace? This course will get you up to running approx 5.5 miles in a safe and steady way.
3) Interested in joining in with a group when running – the social side of club running can do wonders for your motivation!
4) Interested to learn how to stretch post run and warm up efficiently?

If you said yes to these then this is for you!

The programme is six weeks long, beginning the 20th February.

Each Tuesday we will meet at Witham Town Football Club with the other club runners. I will give you a briefing for each session, warm you up and support you in some of the more technical aspects of running. We always keep as a group so uou will never be on your own. At the end of the session I will give you guidance on other training to do until the following week.

It is ideal that you attend every Tuesday for the six weeks, and we also invite you to attend two Thursday sessions near the end of the block. These are completely different sessions so I will explain more if you get in contact.

All this is available to you for the price of £10.
Even better, I’d you decide to sign up as a member after the programme, the £10 will come off of your membership fee.
