Thaxted Trail Marathon & Half Marathon

Saffron Striders are organising the Thaxted Trail Marathon & Half Marathon on Sunday, March 12th. This is a narrative trail run (95% off road)

Start and finish from Margaret Street Church Hall, Thaxted CM6 2QN

Marathon starts between 9am and 10am

Half marathon starts between 10am and 11am

Finish time for both events is 4pm sharp.

Entry fee is £7.50 for affiliated runners with a £1.00 donation from every entry going to EACH (East Anglian Children’s Hospice)

Also, pre-entrants of the full marathon will receive a special bottle of wine on race day.

What to expect:
Mud, cake and a great route through picturesque villages and countryside.

What NOT to expect:
Marshals, route markers, souvenir t-shirt!!
