Start on pavement opposite pub on station road
Cross road to run along Vicarage Avenue
0.13 – Half left along drive before black barns. 20 yards right through path behind barns between fences. At end of path continue straight ahead (divert right and immediate left to go around hedges) with Stanfield Farm on left continue straight between fields to treeline.
0.45 At field corner turn left to cross bridge
0.53 – Turn left along treeline to stile. Straight ahead over next stile. Follow track through gate to road.
0.92 – Turn right on Road
0.95 – Turn left at footpath sign up track, Fambridge Hall.
1.14 – At end of tarmac track turn left across stones in front of Fambridge hall and follow path down past farm buildings.
1.26 – Turn right at footpath sign, keep to left of field edge to go through tunnel. Follow path uphill eventually reaching farm buildings.
2.00 – Left through gap and immediate right to road. STOP! Cross road carefully and turn left on pavement.
2.15 – After field on right turn right at footpath sign. Follow path through trees straight ahead between fields to church
2.48 – Turn right on road for 10 yards and turn left at footpath sign through kissing gate alongside church. Straight ahead towards farm buildings.
2.83 – Turn right at fence
2.91 – Turn left at 2nd marker post through Egypts Farm past barrier to road
3.10 – Left along road
3.41 – Take the 1st road on left
3.90 – At junction turn left towards church
3.99 – Turn right at blue barrels opposite church. Straight ahead between fields through trees to road.
4.33 – Turn left along pavement
4.45 – Just before farm buildings on right cross road at footpath arrow on telegraph pole onto footpath. After 10 yards go left through gap and immediate right to head past farm buildings and back along the track on right hand field edge. Straight ahead through tunnel, bear right along right hand field edge to path junction.
5.23 – Turn left at path junction
5.34 – Across stones and turn right along tarmac path
5.52 – Right at road and follow road over bridge / ford back to pub. Careful busy road at end.
