On one of the many ‘hottest days of the year’ in early Sep Anita  took part in the standard distance Aquabike (1.5km river swim/40kmbike). Anita had a nice fight with the weeds at the beginning of the swim, then settled and put in a decent swim with an interesting ladder exit . Lovely rolling bike course with a couple of climbs to shake things up. Scorchio 32 degrees with no wind and Anita was so glad not to have to run too. A successful event and Anita has qualified for next year’s world championships over in Malaga, yay! Foam party prep underway!
