Orion forest 5

On Saturday morning Brigid Wallen and I ran in the 2nd race of the series of 5 mile trail races held in the Chingford part of Epping forest. The race is fairly undulating with a couple of long uphill sections. There were some muddy places to negotiate as well as the usual hazards when off road.

We ran the first 3 miles or so together until I very ungentlemanly ran slightly ahead.

I finished in 39.50 with Brigid just behind in 40.32.
