Hoohaah Thetford Forest 10k

As part of the Hoohaah series, the inaugural Thetford Forest 10k took place today at Santon Downham.

By 10am the sun was shining, the temperature was in the mid-20’s and  four Witham runners were on the start line. Being a new event nobody knew what to expect other than Norfolk is as flat as a pancake… !

Hoohah indeed, it was a challenging run – off road, long drags, ankle tickling grass and sand. Just when you could almost touch the finish line, the course teased you and turned off for another 2.5k around the forest.

Nonetheless a lovely run, good fun and well organised.
