Flitch Way Marathon results

4 January 2016 - By Terry Alabaster

Three Witham Running Club members ran in the Flitch Way Marathon on New Years Eve, starting and finishing at the discovery centre.

The course had a few muddy moments and the day was a little breezy at times but not bad for the end of December. The least amusing part of the race was having to run up the hill to the finish.

James Crisp finished in 18th place out of 176 finishers in a great time of 3.31.39 despite driving down from Nottingham before the race.

Andrew Lager was competing in his second Marathon and improved his time from Chelmsford finishing in 3.37.50 for 26th place.

Terry Alabaster finished in 87th in 4.19.54.
