Essex Championship Road Relays @ Harwich, More Club records and PBs

On an overcast windy morning 11 WRC teams took part in the Harwich Road relays and were out in force supporting fellow team members. The race consists of 5k legs with 3 participants in each team with the exception of the Mens open team which has 4 members.
Conditions were conducive to PBs ignoring the headwind in places and Vicky Hunt picked up another club record as did Leo Cole. Heydon snuck under 18 minutes for the first time with David Hunt edging closer to the 18 minute mark.
The ladies V45A team of Brigid, Sharon & Anita were our highest placed team coming 4th & the ladies V35A team of Vicky, Liz & Wendy came 5th.
